This, this is it for me, all potential hype I had for this game has officially died, and with it my faith in the franchise from here on out.
Seeing the first trailer for this game back in February, this game Had high hopes and good ambitions, Then came the first big blow of the national dex cut, I still had some hopes that A good game was to be had, even with the now limited roster. Then I saw the region champion Leon … with a Charizard. It was around here that I was slowly losing faith. All of a sudden Galarian forms weakly tug me back with a gen 3 representative, And all the new pokemon revealed seem to be decent as well. The 24-hour stream pushed me away to my final threads on this game.

But This, This blatant Gen 1 pandering to those whiney few known as genwunners, This is where I'm dropping the ball, Im done, I'm finished waiting for GF to try and give us some good news, I don't even want them to remake Diamond, Pearl, Or Platinum. Because seeing this, and knowing the policy change going forward, I have no hope that it would even live up to a FIFTH that those games hold to this day.

I don't even hate Charizard, but he's basically that one incredibly spoiled kid at school who keeps getting awesome stuff and shows it off at lunch. He could be a great guy but you're forced to hate him out of the shear envy of having to experience him winning the genetic lottery.
