Protagonist fighting in-game:capable to pull off the impossible,with high jumps,combos in the air,swordfighting,can use some big fire weapons too and can dodge at incredible speed.
Protagonist fighting in a cutscene:forgets how to fight and runs towards to the enemy like a dumbass and gets almost killed.
I really dislike it when that happens,I know it's mostly used so they can make the villain look strong but it also make the protagonist look like an idiot.
Borderlands, Halo, Turok, and Red Dead Redemption in a nutshell. These types of deaths feel like the cheapest ones that happen, but often times there is no real in game way that would be satisfying. If they were interactable, they would make the player question whether or not they could change the outcome or if it would even matter/benefit them.
