Dio rejected his humanity, got mad time-stopping and punch-ghost abilities, that was not enough for him, tried to get two handfuls of knives, and that is still not enough to get the fulfillment he longs for his potentially eternal life should he succeed.

Moe is just a below-average mortal and feels terrific with just having two of those. And ends outliving Dio if you discount the time spent trapped in the Titenic.
