I just finished watching all five episodes online. I'm a disappointed, because a lot could have been avoided by Connie taking an extra 15 seconds to tell Steven why she was angry. Probably could have gotten the whole fight done in a single episode.

Is it just me, or does this show have a lot of filler and plot stretching? Seriously, is it just me?

The sad thing is, I don't mind the episodes involving Beach City. The problem is that as the show went on, the space opera part got huger while the beach town was mostly stagnant. Other than small bits of character development from the townsfolk, not a whole lot happens and the gems get LESS involved with Beach City as the seasons progress. There should be way more opportunities for gem stuff and human stuff to mesh together, but they mostly stay separated and it's frustrating.
