No joke, though. I never look down on people whose life goal is money or something directly related to it, because really, why..? It is not necessarily a noble cause, but it is not a corrupt one by default, either. Money is just a thing. What you make of that thing depends on you, not the money itself, and you can even be a millionaire and not a douchebag, contrary to popular belief.

I personally think it only becomes a problem when POWER becomes a life goal, which, in real life, is mostly obtained through money, which is why political leaders of all kinds all around the world have the reputation they have, and they are not the only ones as long as power thirst is a thing. Other than that, if money brings you happiness, a good life for you and those around you and you need nothing else, then be my guest. Life is not some over-romanticized novel where everyone must be a shining knight trying to change the world by being pure of heart of some shit, and simple life goals are acceptable.
