safe money is the next episode would probably be about lapis learning to bake or pearl being pearl and lars being on homeworld would be discussed off-screen.

I won't be surprised if we go back to light-hearted episodes. It doesn't really upset me too much, as they suggested it would take a long time for them to find a way off of Homeworld, and without Steven there, the drones that were chasing them aren't nearly as interested in them. But I will be upset if we don't get a proper feeling that there's a hole in Beach City where Lars used to be. The easy way to do that would be an episode where everyone just kinda misses him or whatever (not sure what the story would be there), but I think they'll instead remind us of his absence through background details and stuff like that. Sadie will likely be coping by hanging out with her new friends, for example.
