Wow, what an asshole. Can't say I'm surprised, though; anyone who willingly uses clickbait of such low quality, and who does so on a regular basis, is bound to do something else stupid at some point.
I believe him when he says that he wasn't targeting the kid for his illness, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a fucking hypocrite.

You're right to worry about him, and I typed this up before I heard he has a history of anxiety and suicidal thoughts. I definitely don't think that makes any excuses for him, but it does make the picture a little bigger. I hope he doesn't commit suicide, it would be best if he realizes what he did wrong and tries to make himself better, but, I'll settle for him and everyone just forgetting this thing and moving on. As long as no further damage is done to anybody, I won't consider this event a total failure of humanity.
