…… Well that's dumb and feel like a cheap way to excuse simple laziness. It worked for Ren and Stimpy because that show was over-the-top and whacky that it was the kind of thing that you would expect from it, it didn't felt out of place. But seeing characters like Steven, Peridot or Lapis CONSTANTLY changing size or hairstyle is really doing damage to the viewer's suspension of disbelief, especially since SU is a show that want itself quite realistic (at least in the way it portray the characters.)

Even more ironic is the fact that being a shape-shifting character is not used as an excuse by Adventure Time fans.
