Pokémon - More In Progress Pokemon

Magikarp’s evolution is based on an old Chinese story about Carp climbing waterfalls. Any that manage to reach the gate at the top become Dragons. They aren’t growing into their shape, divine power changes them.
The thing about Evolution is that Pokemon aren’t “growing” when they evolve, they are changing. Pokemon can go their entire life-spans without evolving.
