Jesus Christ, is this what I was like when I kept saying Lapis didn't deserve redemption?

Dude, she has no reason to want it yet. Peridot only became a Crystal Gem after having all other options taken away, and then being shown the light. Lapis doesn't even want to associate with the Gems outside of Peridot and Lapis. So Jasper's done some bad stuff, maybe even hit really close to home when it comes to Rose. Okay? I seem to recall that Peridot has tried to kill Steven more than Jasper has so far.

Give Jasper some time. I can think of at least 4 different ways Jasper starts a path to redemption. It isn't impossible, and once her temper tantrum is over, we might start to see some change.
