Yeah, I noticed a severe increase in severity when it comes to the villains plans, though no one comes close to Gen 4.

Gen 1: Organized crime ring
Gen 2. Revival efforts of earlier mentioned crime ring
Gen 3: Ecoterrorism
Gen 4: INTERDIMENSIONAL OMNICIDE HOLY SHIT.
Gen 5: World domination (nothing beats a classic!)
Gen 6: Mass extinction of all Pokémon and genocide of all nonmembers of Team Flare.

The new villains has quite the shoes to fill it seems.

I've been playing Platinum the past few days and it seems that that team galactic is by far one of the most dangerous villain groups in the Pokemon series, especially when you consider Cyrus is a psychopath that wants to erase all planes of existence and essentially become god.
