I'VE HAD THIS THEORY SINCE I READ PART 4 okay, so you know how Dio's stand sent a ripple through the Joestar bloodline? He had more influence than that. Each Stand in the Joestar bloodline that was alive and affected by Dio has a Stand based off of one of Dio's. Joseph has that shitty vine, Jotaro's Star Platinum is commonly said to be the "same type of Stand as The World", and Crazy Diamond looks just like The World, along with the power to manipulate time. Combined with the fact that Josuke was just a small child during the Egypt incident, has a damn near psychotic temperament (I know he gets it from mom, just chill), and he has little to no qualms about "semi-murdering" people (punching holes through 3 people in the span of a day, turning Angelo into a living rock forever), and is proven to be a kind of sadist…

Maybe Dio had more influence on the Joestar family than previously thought.

Obviously he is Dio son.
