Muffet tries to get help from people, for her Kickstarter games; the games, themselves are actually pretty decent, but overpriced as all fuck, and the problem is, she gets mad at anyone who doesn't back it, to the point of sending the members of the dev team (spiders) to harass them online. Not to mention, while she is the head dev, most of the work is done by her team, and yet she still takes credit for it all, anyway.
Monster Kid is just that; a child. One that's brand new to video games, at that, and as such, is very impressionable.
The Dogs and Temmies are server griefers. The only difference is the Dogs are doing it ironically, whilst the Temmies aren't.
Grillby is the stoic owner of Grillby's Arcade.
All of the shopkeepers are the same, except now, their stores sell video games only.
The Snowdin shopkeeper is basically the same; a generic store owner without much personality.
Gerson is a really old dude, who's been around since vidya was first conceived. He can remember back when Pong was the latest shit. As such, he's the only shopkeeper that sells the oldest, and I mean, oldest, games there are.
