I don't know how to feel about this.

i can't really say tumblr op's argument is wrong, but it's not exactly wrong to assume children are attracted to the opposite gender. according to a ucla survey, only 3.5% of americans identify as LGBT, and even within that number bisexual people outnumber gay people slightly. assuming a kid will be attracted to the opposite sex isn't exactly unreasonable when there's a 98.3% chance they will.

but, that said, i can't say i agree with pushing kids to get with one gender or the other. it's something they need to figure out for themselves. what we need to do is stop giving a shit about this, and the situation will sort itself out.
