Granted, I myself (and I'm sure a few others) was calling a baby since the real Royal Baby was announced years ago. It just took a little while… (Though, in the show, I don't think they've even been married for more than a year tops.)

At least the CMC was a little led up to in a way… Considering this season has been about cutie marks.

That finale though… Christ, I hope not. I don't care if the kid's born a little sooner than what makes sense. Hell, Ms. Cake didn't even show a baby bump before she popped out twins. But don't just jump ahead just so the soontobe Alicorn of a Billion Fanrages can become an actual character.
