Weev Sentenced to 41 Months in Prison

Andrew "Weev" Auernheimer has been sentenced to 41 months in prison, three years probation and a restitution of $73,000 today after being found guilty of conspiracy to access a computer without authorization.

Following an FBI probe into the case launched last month, the trial of Ma’lik Richmond and Trent Mays began this morning in Ohio. To avoid additional onliine controversy, Judge Tom Lipps declared that media would not be allowed to bring iPads, cellphones or laptops to the courtroom.
