Pepper Spray Cop Gets $38K Settlement

Earlier this month, fomer Lt. John Pike was awarded more than $38,000 as part of a workers' compensation settlement for the psychiatric injury he suffered following the events of the pepper spray incident at UC Davis in November 2011.

DUI Confessor Sentenced to 6 1/2 Years

After releasing a DUI murder confession on YouTube last month, 22-year-old Matthew Cordle has been convicted of aggravated vehicular homicide and driving under the influence and will be spending the next six and a half years in jail.

The vigilantes of Anonymous have once again succeeded in rebooting an investigation of a controversial sexual assault case, this time, in Maryville, Missouri, where the county officials filed for a motion to revisit the allegations that had been dropped under questionable circumstances in March.
