This slang term often used in response to a clever or brash statement was popularized in May after a series of 4 pane comics featuring a man and a dog looking at each other began appearing on Reddit.

This caption often appears on photos of animals completing human tasks when they are not presumably skilled enough to do so. Oh dog, you're not even holding the controller!

Launched in March, these four-pane comics consists of photographs depicting a disturbed-looking subject in progressive zoom.
