I don't have to show you s---. Actually, you just proved my point. See, in 14 years of doing this, people have tried to "protest" my decision to reject their application and in doing to, you've just solidified in EVERYONE'S mind exactly why my rejecting your application was correct. You're not the decision-maker in this case. There's more to a candidate being a good fit than a skillset or their background; there's this thing called "soft skills" which your argument of my decision shows you thoroughly lack. In fact, the times I've had candidates send me emails EXACTLY like what you've posted, I'll share with my bosses and the hiring managers and we all laugh. Quite possibly, we print those out and pin them up on our Wall of Shame. If I have 300 applicants, it's not about 299 being unqualified. Qualified people don't always get hired and there's nothing I, or anyone else, can do about that. You're mad at me, trying to show me you think you know about MY career that I've done over a decade, when in reality, you're mad because you've been rejected for jobs and I'll tell you why: you're a d--- and people don't like to hire d----. There's things in the workplace that just can't be taught...like getting along with people or accepting decisions YOU don't like. I say this with deep sincerity: Go. F.k. Yourself.

So here it goes, If you want the ugliest yard in the neighborhood, just put up halloween decorations. Simple. What kind of modern society wants to see dead bodies and such? I wish some people would grow up and have some class. We are better than this. Why not decorate with beautiful things? Isn't the purpose of a decoration to beautify? Let's be different. Let's get creative and not let retail stores trick us into buying the ugly stuff they want to sell us. Seriously, who wants to store a skeleton in their closet for most of the year? If we stop buying that stuff, maybe we won't have to look at it in the stores either. That would be nice. If I see any untasteful decorations this year I will be contacting the authorities. This is from came out to my daughter's townhome at great job even though he ran into some complications. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work done. yesterday afternoon to replace a toilet. was professional and did a However, I do want to speak to someone about the final bill ($802) and see if there is an opportunity to adjust that total based on a more realistic pricing/fee schedule. I have yet to receive a copy of the invoice, but I was quoted over $300 to install the new toilet (purchased and provided by the customer) and remove the old toilet. I was also quoted over $250 for a replacement flange kit, which can be purchased online for under $50. I'm my own mind, a fair invoice would reflect 3 hours of labor (@$75/hr), $100 in parts (flange kit and shutoff valve), $50 for the service call, and $125 to remove/dispose of the old toilet. That's a total of $500. Please email me a copy of the invoice. I would also like to speak with a manager about my experience.

We Live In Bergen County 9h- I just had a very disturbing and completely appalling experience at the new Turning Point restaurant in Paramus on Route 4. My husband and I were in the area yesterday and saw the new place and decided we'd try it this morning with our daughter. After our breakfast, we got our check and gave a $100 bill to one of the wait staff (who wasn't our original server). Our bill was $44.16 and we received $55 back (NO CHANGE of 84 cents!). Although the bill says we were given the change of $55.84 - we were MOST definitely not, hence the reason for questioning the manager. We thought there was a mistake and questioned the supposed manager, a very tall gentleman, and were informed that they ROUND UP their bills because they do not carry any change in the restaurant and the extra goes to the waitress as part of the tip. REALLY?? Please note, the server's name on our bill was most accommodating and was NOT the server who rounded up our bill. Well, I just called corporate and was told that is NOT the case and that they should not be rounding up ANY bills!! I am furious!! We normally tip way more than normal anyway, but I cannot even imagine how many bills are being rounded during the course of a day and there are NO signs posted anywhere indicating this is the policy. If we would have paid by the phone scan, we would have been charged an extra 2% of the bill, SOOO what was the 84 cents accomplishing - are they penalizing us for paying in cash as it is? Just think of just a mere 100 tables being assessed this rounding up because they "don't have change" - they're adding at least a few hundred dollars to their bottom line before anyone tips!! If any of you have experienced this, call corporate and let them know - (732) 676-9785. The woman at corporate was very apologetic and was going to forward my issue to a regional person to discuss further (if that accomplishes anything.)
